Your Role:
As a Disability Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing our disability support programs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote independence, inclusion, and well-being for individuals with disabilities. Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative program initiatives
- Knowledge of disability support services and resources
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inclusive programs for individuals with disabilities
- Coordinate program activities, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and participant feedback
- Provide support and guidance to program participants as needed
Essential:
- Current and valid NSW Working with Children Check Clearance number.
- Current and valid driver’s licence and access to a fully insured vehicle.
- Current and valid Provide First Aid certificate.
- Cleared NDISWC.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, special education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation within the disability support sector.
- Strong understanding of disability rights, advocacy, and person-centered approaches to support.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families.
