About The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will manage and lead the day-to-day operations in two of our 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. With your strong coaching and mentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordination of the care and services to the people we support in each SIL home.
- Striving to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensuring they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home.
- Coordination of SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets and vehicles.
- Leading safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus.
- Ensuring all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Day to day management of operations.
- On call support (shared roster approx. 2 to 3 times a year)

You are a motivated, resilient, and caring leader who excels in supporting their team to provide services to people with a disability who have complex needs. You understand that change happens at a local level and have that unique combination of creativity and business nous to make that change happen.

Essential:
- Ability to achieve results and deliver on quality.
- Ability to identify trends and drive process improvement.
- Solid understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Practice Standards.
- Knowledge of providing services and support to people living with disability.
- Working knowledge of budget management.
- Solid report writing skills and data analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certificate IV in Disability or similar.
Successful applicants will require a current Australian Drivers Licence, two COVID-19 vaccinations and a booster and full Australian Work rights. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical, a current First Aid certificate and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
