A forward thinking and innovative team where your ideas are heard and valued.About The RoleReporting to the Regional Manager you will manage and lead the day-to-day operations in two of our 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. With your strong coaching and mentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice.Responsibilities include:

• Coordination of the care and services to the people we support in each SIL home.
• Striving to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensuring they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home.
• Coordination of SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets and vehicles.
• Leading safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus.
• Ensuring all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
• Managing key stakeholder relationships.
• Day to day management of operations.
• On call support (shared roster approx. 2 to 3 times a year)

Essential:

• Ability to achieve results and deliver on quality.
• Ability to identify trends and drive process improvement.
• Solid understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Practice Standards.
• Knowledge of providing services and support to people living with disability.
• Working knowledge of budget management.
• Solid report writing skills and data analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Certificate IV in Disability or similar.

Successful applicants will require a current Australian Drivers Licence, two COVID-19 vaccinations and a booster and full Australian Work rights. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical, a current First Aid certificate and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.Benefits of working with us
