Disability Support Worker

We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated and Professional Disability Support Workers / Mental Health Support workers in Gold Coast for a young Female and male participants of ours in Paradise Point and Hope Island.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:
* Personal care - showering, dressing, grooming
* Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
* Transport - transport to appointments / shopping and community access.
* Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people, taking them out for walks or activities.

Applicants will require:

* Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical disability
* Certificate III or 4 in Individual Support; Disability, Aged care or similar.
* CurrentNDIS worker screening card and Blue card
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
* Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
* Medication Certificates/experience will be favourable.
* Valid Driver's License
Covid and Flu vaccinations are required.

Training/ credentials in Bowel care/ Peg feeding and Dementia / Mental Health would be beneficial.
