The Role:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a Participant based in Oakey, QLD. Our participant sustained a spinal cord injury.
This role is commencing from immediately and is an on-going casual nature.
The participant requires support Monday to Sunday in the AM which is a 2 assist (7am - 9am and 7am - 12pm) and PM (19:00pm - 21:00pm).
We are offering the following pay rate:
Day shift $36.25 per hour
Evening shift $39.88 per hour
Saturday shift $50.75 per hour
Sunday shift $65.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Assistance with personal care
Assistance with domestic tasks
Assistance with community access
Assistance with medication
Hoisting and transferring (essential experience required)
Bowel therapy - administering enema and digital stimulation (essential experience required)
Skills & Experiences:
Australian Driver Licence
Certificate 3 in Individual Support
Current National Police Clearance
Current Blue Card
Current Yellow Card
Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
Immunisation History Statement (evidence of covid vaccinations)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Infection Control Training - Covid19
Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
