Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker with a passion for providing exceptional care? Do you have expertise in handling high-need, complex supports? If so, we want to join our dedicated team?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-quality personal care, access to supports, and assistance with daily living support to clients with complex needs, neurodiversity and mobility limitations.
- Assist with mobility and physical assistance as required.
- Manage and support clients with anxiety and other neurodiverse conditions.
- Provide support to clients with autism, focussing on behaviour management and skill development.
- Facilitate access to community activities and resources.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for clients and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Mental Health First Aid desirable.
- Valid Blue Card.
- Valid NDIS Workers Screening Card.
- Completion of NDIS Orientation modules.
- Strong understanding of and experience with personal care, mobility assistance, anxiety management, neurodiversity (especially autism) and community access.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of reliability and professionalism.
