Who We Are
AMPE Services is a registered National Disability Insurance (NDIS) Provider based in Southwestern Sydney. We strive to give hope and dignity to all people and provide a very personal and customised service to our clients.
We offer Disability Support services in compliance with NSW and Commonwealth government requirements such as: specialist behaviour support, psychological services, household task services, transport services, support coordination, occupational therapy services, group activities, community access, speech therapy, and community nursing care.
The Opportunity
As a Disability Support Worker, your role is to facilitate and conduct support that directly assists individuals in developing their life skills.
In this role you will be directly involved with participants delivering supports (either individually or in a group setting) aimed at developing skills, promoting independence and community participation.
This is a permanent, full-time position.

- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of building meaningful connections with others
- Ability to respond to the client's needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Compassionate, with a strong commitment to supporting and empowering participants to achieve their goals
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary, multicultural team to provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve participants’ level of independence.
- Ability to write accurate and complete records of activities via progress/shift/case notes
- Ability to work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Qualifications in disability, community services, and/or aged care
- Previous experience in community/disability/aged care services or a related field will be highly regarded.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
