ABOUT YOUR ROLE
We have part-time and causal positions for Disability Support Workers in Rockhampton! Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with diverse disabilities, managing tasks effectively, and creating a caring environment that encourages independence and growth. You will be working within our customers Supported Independent Living homes (SIL) and engaging in community activities tailored to their needs. If you’re passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, we would love for you to be a part of our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Assisting with daily tasks (personal care, household duties, etc.)
- Administering medication
- Providing companionship
- Transporting customers
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain;
- Flexible availability for a 24/7 roster, including sleepover and/or awake shifts
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
- Right to work in Australia
- COVID-19 vaccinations (x2 doses)
- CPR and First Aid certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- NDIS orientation module certificate
