Active Support Australia is seeking motivated Support Workers to work across shifts that can include weekends.
Support Workers needed for Gold Coast (Bundall, QLD 4217).
The shifts available are:
- Monday to Sunday Day shifts and Night Shifts with Sleepover (8 hour Minimum shift per day)
Open to experienced staff and those entering the industry.

The Role
- Provide compassionate high-quality care.
- Assistance with medication.
- Assistance with psychosocial support, appointments, and domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
- Personal Care.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
- Community access activities.
- Full-time equivalent hours for the right candidates.

Essentials
- Available for day, night shifts.
- Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated as per QLD Government Regulations.
- Current driver’s licence & Mobile Phone.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent disability related qualifications.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- Current Working with Children Blue Card.
- Current and satisfactory Criminal History Check or a National Police Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate (visit NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (ndiscommission.gov.au) to access this free module). At completion of the course, you will be provided with a certificate of completion which you can forward to ****@activesupportautralia.com.au
Desirable
- Experience with any of the following – Personal Care, Medication Management, Hoisting/Manual handling and Nursing support.
