Position: Level 1/Level 2 Support Engineer

Location: Cockburn Central Office in Western Australia

Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Level 1/Level 2 Support Engineer to enhance our IT team. The ideal candidate will manage first and second level support, tackle a broad spectrum of technical challenges, and uphold supreme customer satisfaction, all while gaining the opportunity to build an exceptional skill set across diverse technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second level technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Manage ticketing system, ensure all issues are tracked, updated, and resolved promptly.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Follow-up with clients to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
  • Prepare activity reports and update the knowledge database.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Must have exceptional and demonstrated troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems (e.g., hardware/software, networks).
  • Familiarity with common OS and software applications.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and quality of work
  • Demonstrated strong willingness to learn will be a key factor to a successful application
  • Current Valid WA Drivers License
  • All applicants are required to demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and oral English.
