Angelic Care is a boutique disability service providing in home cares and community access supports to people living with disabilities. We are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and caring people to provide and maintain high quality care to our clients on a long-term basis.
About the RoleProvide support in the day to day lives of people with disabilities, including but not limited to:
- Domestic Assistance duties (preparing meals/cooking/cleaning)
- Assisting with medications
- Progress notes
- Using mobility aids and hoisting clients
- Taking to Medical / Allied Health Appointments
- Planning and coordinating community access activities
- Monitoring client's behavior in order to attend to their needs and monitor their health.
- Days, Afternoons, or Night shifts available
- Set Rosters with regular clients
- Help people with disabilities work towards their goals and aspirations
- Supportive leadership team & regular team meetings
- Long term role with career and professional development opportunities
- Immediate start available
- Passion for helping people with disabilities
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Cert III or higher in individual support (highly regarded)
- Able to connect and build rapport with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written)
- Assist with Medications certification.
- Current Driver’s License
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification
High Care Specific Requirements:
- Experience & certification in catheter care.
- Experience and training with showering, pad changing, enema insertion, digital stimulation, skin checks and other personal care
- Cleaning, sterilization and other daily duties
- Experience working with clients with complex wounds
