Qualifications & experience
- Minimum CERT III in Disability services, or willingness to enrol in training in a disability related field within first six weeks of employment.
- Members of our team Ability must be able to work independently and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, have current NSW Driver’s License, have NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, a current or willing to obtain in first month of employment a First Aid Certificate.
- If successful in interview process, proof of up-to-date COVID vaccinations must be provided prior to commencement.

Tasks & responsibilities
- To support and assist our participants with a disability in a range of daily activities provided in our centre or in the participants’ home that align to their NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) plan and their choice of service delivery.
- Staff may also assist participants to access the community and engage in social activities.
- Most activities are conducted one to one or in a small group of people who share similar goals and interests.
- Staff may also be required to provide daily personal care of participants. Shifts may vary for staff depending upon the choices of the participant.
- Successful applicants will provide support in the day-to-day routine of participants -
- This may include duties such as, accessing the community, personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, household maintenance, banking, budgeting, paying bills, shopping, transportation, assistance with medication and meeting personal hygiene needs of clients.
