We assist people to continue living in their own homes by matching the right staff to suit the needs of our members and their families. Our service is all about providing quality, caring, and dedicated support for our members as required.
About the role
We pride ourselves on employing people who are passionate about making a difference in somebody else’s life. Our teams are trained to work with our clients to identify their specific needs and goals and get to know them on an individual level so that we can match them to skilled carer to form trusted relationships and provide individualized services.
There are roles available for Disability Support workers in Fitzgibbon and Chermside West and the surrounding suburbs. We are looking for people who are dedicated, Value-Oriented, and People-Focused to support our members to achieve their NDIS goals. If you have experience supporting people with disabilities, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
Do you come from a background where you have achieved goals and successes around a client’s community engagement, socializing, and independent living skills over several years? You are familiar with the NDIS and working within active NDIS, and goal-oriented plans and you are seasoned in positive behaviour support skills and methodologies.
Tasks can include
Personal Care and Support for varied aspects of daily living.
Flexible working hours to suit work-life balance.
Build and maintain positive relationships with our members and their families.
Community Access and Providing Domestic Assistance.
Record and Document how members are achieving their NDIS Goals.
Following Personal Support and Behavioral Support plans.
Key Selection Criteria
The essentials
Right to work in Australia.
Current driver's license
Reliable Vehicle with Full Comprehensive Insurance
Current First Aid and CPR
Blue Card and successful NDIS Workers Screening
Completed NDIS Commission Worker Orientation Module
Infection Control Training
Reliable smartphone with internet access
Availability for all hours including evenings, days, weekend shifts and afternoon shifts
