Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, with a life of mine of 16 years and low operating costs. In this role, you will report directly to the Fleet Management Systems Supervisor and be responsible for:
- Coordinating and monitoring the Truck/Shovel Fleet using Modular Fleet Management System to optimise productivity and operational efficiencies, while executing mine plan objectives, targets and schedules
- Inter-departmental communication and interactions to assist with the capture, management, and validation of accurate real-time and historical data for reporting purposes to key stakeholders including Line Management, Production and Maintenance Departments
- Monitoring of various other systems including Tetra radio communications, Geotech geological radar, Hexagon Operator Awareness, Provision3 and Cat Terrain (high precision systems)
- Management and accountability of the Dispatch Officer to maximise production efficiencies, manage haul circuits and ensure the accuracy of time utilisation and material movement data
The successful applicant will have:
- Profiency with Modular Mining Fleet Management Systems and MinVu reporting suite
- S1, S2, S3 Certificate or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in mining operations, with strong skills in communication, leadership, motivation and enthusiasm
- A high level of computer literacy and ability to navigate various technology systems
- The ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
