Dispatch Coordinator

About The RoleOur client is highly regarded as a market leader in the Australian manufacturing, distribution and export of advanced-technology air conditioners, heating appliances and associated componentry, who are looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join their growing team.

This immediate start position provides an opportunity for the right person to have ongoing employment within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organizing and planning daily picking and packing for dispatch of goods.
• Supervising picking and packing staff, checking orders and monitoring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintaining warehouse systems with all warehouse and dispatch staff.
• Liaison with customers and transport companies for accurate deliveries.
• Working with warehouse and dispatch manager for continuous improvements in all aspects of the department.
•  Maintaining the Stores Section in a clean and presentable condition.
• Arrange for pallets and recyclable drums to be returned to suppliers when instructed.
• Compile and package all products to be dispatched as instructed.
• Load containers when required.
• Make out relevant paper work as per relevant procedures in a neat and tidy manner.
• When required and instructed work in various production areas.
• Assume duties as required by Dispatch Manager.
• Accurate counting of store stock when required.

Requirements:

• Current forklift licence an advantage.
• Leadership experience is an advantage.
• Problem solving mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• High standard and accurate work output.
• Possess a strong work ethic and the desire to be reliable.
