This immediate start position provides an opportunity for the right person to have ongoing employment within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizing and planning daily picking and packing for dispatch of goods.
- Supervising picking and packing staff, checking orders and monitoring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining warehouse systems with all warehouse and dispatch staff.
- Liaison with customers and transport companies for accurate deliveries.
- Working with warehouse and dispatch manager for continuous improvements in all aspects of the department.
- Maintaining the Stores Section in a clean and presentable condition.
- Arrange for pallets and recyclable drums to be returned to suppliers when instructed.
- Compile and package all products to be dispatched as instructed.
- Load containers when required.
- Make out relevant paper work as per relevant procedures in a neat and tidy manner.
- When required and instructed work in various production areas.
- Assume duties as required by Dispatch Manager.
- Accurate counting of store stock when required.
- Current forklift licence an advantage.
- Leadership experience is an advantage.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
- High standard and accurate work output.
- Possess a strong work ethic and the desire to be reliable.
