Lead by designer/owner Megan Salmon, the label is renowned for Megan’s flattering and empowering styling, confident use of colour, original textile designs and quality fabrics. The label is not price led, is perceived as quality, and particularly loved by professional women 40+
The label operates with a small staff team, produces two ranges a year and is well known for exemplary customer service.
The Fremantle worksite comprises the warehouse, production management, pattern and sample making, communications and photography, general administration, as well as Megan’s studio and our flagship shop
The small staff team is highly capable, motivated and thrives on team work with clear positive communications.
Production is off shore in two countries, working with small manufacturers we know well and work with consistently.
The Position:
A highly capable, efficient, Dispatch Coordinator is essential to the success of the business.
The Dispatch Coordinator is hands-on in receiving and processing stock as it arrives from overseas.
The Dispatch Coordinator is hands-on in dispatching stock to our wholesale clients (boutiques) , and our individual customers shopping on-line.
The position is also responsible for
- Inventory monitoring and control
- Organising freight, national and international , as necessary.
- Part of our Quality Control process
There are no other permanent warehouse staff, although casuals and other staff are utilised as the work flow requires.
The position requires someone with some fashion experience and a working knowledge of fabric.
We need the successful candidate to take ownership of the role, implement all in-house systems, undertake rigorous quality control on all stock, and organise and manage stock control.
The position demands exemplary customer service and communication skills dealing with on-line and wholesale customers.
They need to be able to discern quality issues if and when they arise.
The position is responsible for every garment from receiving and storing it to sending it out to either a wholesale or direct customer including exchange and returns.
Care and pride need to be taken in wrapping and shipping our products to ensure that the label’s high-end presentation and standards are achieved.
There will be invoicing, customer service and freight logistics to handle as well as working as part of a team of committed professionals working in a growing business.
The position requires someone who is highly organised, productive and thorough. Someone who takes pride in efficiency, thinks clearly, solves problems, look for improvements and is a great communicator.

The Production Manager - in relation to all new stock as it arrives, goes on the inventory and is dispatched to wholesale accounts.
and
The Marketing Manager in relation to the daily servicing and dispatching for on-line customers.
Position tasks:
- Receiving and processing stock
- Implementing quality control
- Picking and packing orders
- Organising shipping
- Stock inventory and stock control
- Handling re-orders
- Communicating issues with key staff
- Customer service
- Data entry
- Reporting stock levels.
- Other duties as reasonably directed by supervisors.
