Dispatch Officer

The positions play a vital role in executing transport operations' activities whilst liaising with other functions within the business autonomously. AM Position: Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:00pmPM Position: Monday-Friday 12:30 pm to 8:30 pmAdditional responsibilities in this role also include:In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the driver paperwork aligns with the work scheduled and product loadedYou will liaise with the customer service, scheduler and/or account managers to support with customer enquiries and deliveries, connect with the drivers to communicate and execute the business requirements as they ariseIn addition, you will process and assemble picklists for the loads, facilitate shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmationsFurthermore, you will be responsible for timely reporting of hazards, injuries, and accidentsThis is a permanent full time role working Monday-Friday 5:00 am to 1:00 pmSkills and experience we are looking for:You have 1-3 years of experience in transport operations and dIspatchIn addition, you have Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent (preferable)Knowledge of SAP systems and processes and MS suiteExposed to the use of scanners for deliveriesFinally, you will be adept in technology and have the ability to learn new IT systemsWhy you will love working with usAt BOC we understand and respect a work/life balance, and that's why we have introduced initiatives such as generous parental leave, flexible working arrangements and attractive superannuation benefits.
