QUALITY AND DISPATCH OFFICER

About the Role
As the Quality and Dispatch Officer you will be responsible for responsible for quality assurance and Dispatch of outgoing product from Top Country. You will ensure the products pass a visual inspection before dispatch, and be responsible for communicating with customers and freight companies to pick up finished products. Additionally, you will support with administrative duties as required.

We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Quality and Dispatch Officer to join our Roma-based team for an immediate start. This is a challenging and rewarding role combining both practical and science-based approaches.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Visual inspection of finished products
- Logging the inspection on our software program
- Liaising with mill staff to ensure no failed inspections
- Contacting customers to collect their completed orders
- Contacting freight companies to collect customer orders for delivery
- Liaising with contract truck drivers and customers to organise bulk deliveries on property in the bulk trailers.
- Liaising with customers and freight companies to organise ‘truck runs’ – multiple customer orders going to the same area.
- Scheduling dispatches on the software program.
- Complete freight-related forms such as truck logs, booking forms and consignment notes as required.
