The Role
This is a great opportunity for a fledgling/intermediate experienced candidate who is looking to build on their current disputes and complaints experience within a Financial Services setting. You'll be joining one of Australia's leading direct Insurers, a brand that continues to grow expand here in ANZ, and within North America.
Key accountabilities of this role include the following;
- Management of escalated disputes through processes
- Gathering information internally and from complainants
- Liaising with Financial Ombudsman services on dispute matters
- Be the go-to point internally as well as taking a leading role in the management of the complaints process
- Ensure that all complaints records are well maintained and in compliance with RG165
- Take charge of the workflow of the compliance function and ensure that key deadlines are tracked and managed
- Take an active role in executing the monitoring program across the business
- Be ready to actively work on various internal projects and initiatives, as and when required
About You
- Must have at least 2+ years experience within a Financial Services environment - Insurance or Banking preferred
- A sound understanding of disputes and complaints process, ideally within an Insurance or Banking setting
- Would suit candidates with 1-2 years IDR experience within Financial Services
- Strong communication skills
- Tertiary educated, ideally within Finance or Law
- Ability to produce reports when required (preferred)
