The Role
Based in our brand-new Distribution Centre in Truganina, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced DC (Distribution Centre) Supervisor to join our team!
In conjunction with the DC Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the general operations of the Distribution Centre for all Austin Group brands and their customers. You will ensure the smooth, safe and efficient functioning of the DC while meeting business critical KPIs.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Supervision of DC team, providing necessary training, coaching and support
- Oversee and coordinate daily DC activities, including receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient delivery of goods to meet business critical KPIs
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve transactional and system issues that may impact customer service performance
- Liaise with sourcing and purchasing teams to manage supplier lead times and data management in company ERP
- Monitor and address specific customer service issues related to inbound processes
- Coordinate efficient put away, replenishment, and picking processes in conjunction with Team Leaders
- Promote awareness and adherence to CoR requirement
- Ensure compliance with Austin Group Health & Safety Policies/Human Resources Policies and WHS responsibilities
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar DC role with supervisory experience
- Preferred Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Operations, Logistics, or business operations
- Proven experience in a busy DC environment
- Previous experience in apparel warehousing (highly desirable)
- Ability to adapt quickly by acquiring the necessary knowledge of a new WMS.
- Drivers License (mandatory)
- LO/LF licenses (preferred)
- Attention to detail, analytical capabilities, able to identify and communicate desired business initiatives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple competing priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with a focus on achieving business improvements
- Results-oriented with solid time management and planning skills
