Job description

Permanent - Full-time

All locations in AU - Hybrid - Manager

Our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team supports the business to create an environment where our people feel they belong because inclusive cultures are crucial for people to thrive and sustainably grow. We blend technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We’re looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Manager (generalist, with disability competence) to help drive the firm’s Belonging strategy, including leading the implementation of the firm’s Access & Inclusion (Disability) Plan, acting as the firm’s disability driver/SME, including oversight of disability programs, and supporting the refresh of resources and materials through understanding disability best practice within our vast community of solvers.

Use the know-how you've gained in D&I and disability inclusion. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you lead a range of D&I strategic projects aligned with PwC’s firmwide Belonging strategy in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.

As someone with deep knowledge in D&I and disability inclusion, you’ll solve problems by conducting research and preparing reports with strategic advice on emerging D&I topics and themes. In our D&I team, you’ll also:

  • Be responsible for end-to-end project management including program design and engagement; relationship management and associated risk management

  • Responsibility for executing D&I actions as agreed from executive leadership teams

  • Lead D&I current state reviews / hotspot interventions (as needed)

  • Use D&I technical knowledge, and data and analytical skills, to quickly draw out, interpret and communicate actionable insights to propose targeted interventions and programs

  • Support client/market presentations on the firm’s D&I strategy

  • Support management of D&I questions, ad-hoc requests and hotspot interventions from the firm.

  • Facilitate D&I workshops and focus groups

  • Support on projects / resourcing gaps across the team, including external reporting requirements (as needed)

More About You

  • Deep understanding, competence and/or lived experience in disability inclusion

  • Strong understanding of D&I technical content areas, in order to effectively develop processes and responses with little oversight

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including understanding how to communicate with impact and succinctly communicate technical matters

  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • High levels of attention to detail and strong ability to analyse and interrogate data to draw insights

  • Strong understanding of effective strategies to drive cultural/behavioural change

  • Trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, have excellent relationship building skills, and are able to juggle multiple stakeholders and conflicting demands

  • Ability to upskill and mentor team members

It’s time to move forward. And upward.

You want to grow, reach new heights and move up the corporate ladder.

We’ll give you a career-boosting role that:

  • Is strong on growth and reward

  • Has competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses and promotions

  • Helps you learn and grow with our internal Academy, study support, and partnerships with Udemy and Coursera

  • Provides strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities

  • Gives you the chance to explore, with overseas secondments and our Together Anywhere policy that lets you work up to 4 weeks from anywhere in Australia

  • Prioritises new families with 26 weeks of parental leave

We're an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier - for our clients, our teams and our communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.

Meg Lansang is the Recruitment Manager for the role. As the team experiences high volumes of applications, we appreciate your patience to allow for a timely and fair process for all.
