The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented HSEQ Manager who has the overall responsibility of managing quality issues, ensuring the ongoing certification of the Quality, WHS and Environmental Management System and that it is documented in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 45001. Other standards may follow.
The HSEQ Manager responsible for the overall development, implementation, review and maintenance of the organization’s Integrated Management Plan in ensuring that the safety of staff, visitors and contractors is line with the current Health Safety Environment and associated Legislation.
In addition, the role sits within a broader framework of the Quality efforts of Delta Electronics incorporating the Eltek brand, as a Global entity, and it is expected that the role maintains a relationship with the teams in APAC, Norway, Taiwan and China, to act as a conduit of information between these organization relative to quality.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:- Ensuring the ongoing certification of the Quality, WHS and Environmental Management System and that it is documented in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 45001
- Ensuring the quality of the documentary systems (AU EMS House) that support Delta Electronics Australia’s compliance with ISO9001 (quality), AS45001 (workplace health and safety) and ISO14001 (environmental management).
- Communication of ISO9001 (quality), AS45001 (workplace health and safety) and ISO14001 (environmental management) requirements to staff.
- Support continuous improvement projects across the business
- Support business units map and document Process flows, procedures and HOWTO documents ensuring documentation is within Delta Electronics branding, template and document controls.
- Timely and accurate publishing into the IMS system.
- Supervise and manage all certification audits conducted by the certifying body and compile responses and actions from audits.
- Ensure that all elements of the Quality, WHS and Environmental Management System are monitored and reviewed for compliance. Implement and manage changes and liaise with all interested parties in regards to the relevant standard and compliance to the standards
- Lead quality incidents with relevant stakeholders ensuring actions, feedback, and external communications are managed and deliverables to external customers are met.
- Managing the company's HSE system including ensuring that guidelines are in accordance to legislation, ensuring new procedures or updates are actioned, reviewing risk assessments on a regular basis and creating action plans.
- Conduct internal audit across the business and report audit feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Utilise skillset in systems and modules to assist the business improve efficiencies
- Continuous improvement of quality, workplace health, safety, and environmental working within the hierarchy of controls framework.
- Adhere to Delta’s Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption policies.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ yrs. relevant on the job experience with technical quality issue management
- Health Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science along with extensive knowledge and practical application of safety management systems, risk management and behavioral safety.
- First Aid certificate
- MS Office 2010/2013– Intermediate to Advanced including Visio and Excel
- SharePoint
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems.
- Critical incident experience
Personal:
- Advanced communications skills – verbal and written.
- Work cohesively with other business units and within a team environment to achieve positive business results.
- Mandarin speaking backgrounds - are encouraged to apply (not a firm requirement)
