About the role
We are looking for a passionate Diversity and Inclusion Manager to work together with our team and leaders on our goal of Officeworks being a place where our team and community feel valued and belong. Reporting directly to the Head of People Capability and Experience, you’ll be at the forefront of building and delivering our Diversity and Belonging strategy and your influence will be critical in leading and delivering initiatives that drive change and foster an ongoing culture of inclusivity.
What you'll do:
- Develop and Execute: Lead the development and execution of the Officeworks' Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy and play a key role in supporting the achievement our People and Planet Positive Plan and the Wesfarmers Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan
- Build Partnerships: Work collaboratively and build relationships with our team members, managers, Senior Leaders and Leadership team as well as establish partnerships with key external community partners to implement strategies and deliver outcomes that supports the attraction, retention and careers of our diverse team and enables our broad range of customers to have the best experience whilst shopping at Officeworks.
- Educate and Inspire: Use your subject matter expertise to champion diversity through engaging communications, education, team member and leadership development and events across Officeworks.
- Measure Success: Proactively track, report and analyse D&I metrics and progress to enhance our programs and support decision-making. This also includes the completion of board and organisational reporting.
- Lead by Example: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to your team and broader team members, while championing a culture of respect, inclusivity, and safety.
We offer great flexibility working in a hybrid working model, where you will be in the office 2-3 days per week and the rest of your week from home.
About you
You are a commercial thinker with a genuine passion for creating inclusive environments. With previous experience creating and executing diversity and inclusion strategies, you have an ability to project manage and execute programs that drive change and impact across a large organisation. You will be comfortable to influence and present to senior stakeholders and building great relationships across a complex business is a natural strength for you.

Educational Background:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or Psychology is preferred.
