Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.

Position Status: Appointment to 21st March 2025Join the Faculty of Education and Foundation Studies as an Education Manager – Social Inclusion, where you'll provide educational leadership and strategic support to ensure departmental service targets are met.Your role Involves guiding the learning journey, from senior secondary school to employment readiness for young people with intellectual disabilities. Also ensuring compliance with ASQA and funding agreement requirements and managing various courses including the Certificate I in Transition Education, Certificate I in Work Education and the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).If you're passionate about educational leadership, empowering people through education, and delivering superior programs to diverse client groups, we invite you to apply! • Current in-depth industry knowledge directly relevant to the disability and education sectors including knowledge of contemporary best practice inclusive pedagogies.
• Understanding of compliance requirements, and the development and maintenance of compliance documentation for ASQA, funding and regulatory authorities.
• Approved relevant industry experience and the ability to demonstrate currency in vocational workplace competencies.
• Sound educational background with high level interpersonal, organisational, management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven capability to lead, motivate, and manage a team towards organisational and educational goals, maintaining budget constraints and ensuring efficient expenditure.
• Degree level qualification relevant to education, disability, social work or psychology or another equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Previous experience as an Education Manager highly regarded
• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) highly regarded
