- Current in-depth industry knowledge directly relevant to the disability and education sectors including knowledge of contemporary best practice inclusive pedagogies.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, and the development and maintenance of compliance documentation for ASQA, funding and regulatory authorities.
- Approved relevant industry experience and the ability to demonstrate currency in vocational workplace competencies.
- Sound educational background with high level interpersonal, organisational, management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven capability to lead, motivate, and manage a team towards organisational and educational goals, maintaining budget constraints and ensuring efficient expenditure.
- Degree level qualification relevant to education, disability, social work or psychology or another equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Previous experience as an Education Manager highly regarded
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) highly regarded
