About the role:

As the Diversity & Inclusion Team Lead, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our employees reflect the diversity of the West Australian people. Unlocking and enhancing our workforce potential by developing and driving our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, your work will harness a stronger workforce that enables Water Corporation to support future generations. What the role will involve:
supporting and implementing a progressive Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and associated roadmap is key to the role, as is analysing, translating, and documenting data, outcomes, and recommendations at a senior level. You will partner with leaders and employees across the business to design, implement and deliver programs and sponsor network groups and partnerships to nurture a community of belonging and acceptance. Being creative in developing and driving Diversity & Inclusion initiatives relating to education, understanding and acceptance, your strong belief in equity will fuel an inclusive workplace. This role spans across all the business groups within the Water Corporation and goes beyond compliance.
About you:
- Ideally degree qualified, with well-established professional networks, and insight into Global Diversity & Inclusion best-practice
- Your distinctive ability to map and articulate your vision creates buy-in across stakeholders groups
- With a creative approach to driving Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, you will be able to think outside the box and tailor solutions.
- Relatable and understanding, you work with people to achieve best outcomes
- Proven track record of developing a Diversity & Inclusion strategy within a large multidiscipline organisation
- Strong influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel to regional and metro locations infrequently.
