About the role
Ventia's Defence Base Services (DBS) contract are currently seeking 2 x Document Administrators to join our team of Asset Planners, based at the Victoria Barracks on St Kilda rd, Melbourne.
This role will be responsible for the transfer of documents between Ventia & Defence systems and will require an eye and attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Ideal opportunity for an experienced Document Controller/administrator.
This is a 12 month Fixed term contract.
Duties:
- Document Control - Locate, Retrieve, receive files and upload documents into Defence System Objective.
- Support improvement initiatives throughout the contract as required
- Upload Ventia Documents into the DBS Document Management system and SharePoint
- Run Reports as requested.
- Carry out any other duties that can reasonably be requested by the National Asset Manager.
- An ability to interact effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior military officers and Client representatives if required
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience using SAP and GEMS.
- MS Office (MS Word / Excel / Outlook)
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Baseline Clearance
