We are actively recruiting an experienced Document Controller to assist in the delivery of one of our Infrastructure Projects based North of Perth on a 5/2 roster.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Previous experience in a Document Controller position within the Civil construction sector
- Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), InEight (Teambinder) preferred
- Previous Main Roads exposure will be highly regarded
- Accurate data entry skills
- Advanced Word and Excel skills
- Experience in the use of SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Effective time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Receive and quality check incoming drawings and document transmittals from client, designers and subcontractors
- Sending document transmittals to clients and subcontractors via EDMS and InEight (Teambinder)
- Administration of Electronic Document Management System including InEight (Teambinder)
- Issuing of technical queries, receiving and distributing responses and update clients SharePoint / registers with documents received and sent
- Management including formatting on NRW site specific project documentation (plans, sub plans, procedure, forms)
- Collate with input from site personnel weekly and monthly reports. Submit to client and NRW internal stakeholders
- Ensure all client reporting obligations and record requirements are prepared and distributed to the client in accordance with client nominated timings
- Issue letters to the client and update the incoming and outgoing letter register
- Create and update master files for all drawings
- Maintain and update project specific procedures and workflow charts
- Provide advice on procedures and recommendations for improvement
- Assist with the storage of quality control records and preparation of manufacturers data report (MDR)
