Document Controller

Hutchies is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our hard working team based in our Toowong office on a full time permanent basis.

This role reports to the Team Leader and plays a crucial role in building and maintaining our document filing system and processes. 

Responsibilities

As a Document Controller your responsibilities will include:

• Establish processes for managing documents within the project/team.
• Ensure adherence to document control standards and guidelines.
• Create and maintain a centralised register of all official documents.
• Track revisions, approvals, and updates.
• Process incoming documents. 
• Facilitate the distribution of outgoing documents to relevant parties.
• Monitor the review and approval process for technical documents.
• Ensure accurate identification, distribution, and filing/storage of all drawings and documentation.
• Ensure Document Management is managed accordingly to the established procedures or standards (documents numbering, approvals, formats, issuance, review, dispatch, recording and archiving)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience using Document management systems. 
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently.
• Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
• A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
