About the Role
We are currently looking for a Draftsperson to join our project team in our Geraldton office. You will be supporting the Projects team with project deliverables to some of the largest mining clients in WA. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities will include.
▪ Draft drawings required for bid, permit and final construction.
▪ Create drawings for assigned projects.
▪ Provide drafting support to all areas and departments of the business as required.
▪ Interpret and coordinate work assignment specifications and procedures.
▪ Collect and analyse data and carry out computations.
▪ Maintain communication, contact and coordination of projects between Project Manager, Client and all stakeholders.
▪ Ensure that information is available to stakeholders when requested.
▪ Develop systems and procedures appropriate to the role.
Essential Criteria
- Associate degree or Advanced diploma
- Three or more years of relevant experience or on-the-job training.
- Demonstrated site experience and knowledge in the mining industry.
- Flexible, resilient mindset with the ability to travel to site as required.
- Strong attention to detail with a solutions-focused mentality.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with managers and clients.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, and other systems.
- Previous experience with interpreting drawing, standards and specification
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
Guaranteed annual earnings: AUD70,000 to AUD100,000 plus superannuation per annum
