Draftsperson

Join Our Team! Full-Time Draftsperson Position Available

We are a Steel & Aluminium Fabrication company based in Carole Park specializing in Structural Steel and Metalwork Packages servicing the Construction Industry. Recent projects include Schools, Healthcare Facilities, Aged Care, Child Care Centers, Warehouses and Distribution Centers. 

Desired Abilities:

• Experience with AutoCAD (3D) – Advanced Steel 
• Ability to interpret construction drawings effectively
• Capacity to work autonomously and efficiently
• Experience site measuring and 3D scanning (not essential)
• Skilled in producing drawings using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel Programs
• Knowledgeable about steel and aluminum products
• Experience in construction or fabrication; a trade background is ideal

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site measuring and utilize 3D scanning equipment (FARO)
• Generate accurate General Arrangement plans
• Coordinate drawing submissions and liaise effectively with clients, architects, and engineers
• Create detailed fabrication drawings
• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Workshop Manager
• Assist in the procurement process by ordering materials and parts

Business hours: 

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 

Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
