Boom Logistics is currently seeking a highly organised and efficient Dry Hire and Asset Coordinator to coordinate the procurement, maintenance, and logistics of equipment and Assets for various projects within the business. This position is required on fulltime basis and based at our Brisbane (Eagle Farm) operations.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate Dry Hire equipment rented internally and externally.
- Research, identify, and source equipment needed for projects internally and through various suppliers and vendors.
- Analyse asset utilisation throughout the business per category.
- Administer the fleet’s light vehicles, trucks and auxiliary equipment.
- Coordinate with managers to allocate equipment as needed and ensure proper utilisation.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing with external vendors or internal maintenance teams.
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of equipment to and from project sites.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment procurement, inventory, maintenance, and logistics.
- Generate reports on equipment utilisation, sales documentation, maintenance activities, and inventory levels for management review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in the handling and operation of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have the below skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in equipment coordination, inventory management, or related roles.
- Suitable background within the crane or equipment industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines as required.
