We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Asset Coordinator to join our team at our Warana (QLD) site. As a Remote Asset Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the operation & maintenance requirements for our vast network of Remote Assets. From our office on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, your primary responsibility will be to monitor various systems and processes, ensuring their smooth operation and responding promptly in case of any anomalies or emergencies. You will work closely with a team of internal and external technicians and engineers to maintain optimal performance of our assets. This position demands strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor online control systems to ensure our clients equipment is functioning properly.
- Respond to alarms: Promptly respond to alarms or alerts indicating equipment malfunctions, abnormalities and take appropriate actions as per established procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Remotely identify and troubleshoot problems within systems or equipment. Detailing corrective actions and raising appropriate work orders to field staff via our management system.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with operators, technicians, supervisors, and clients to relay information, coordinate activity and escalate issues as needed.
- Reporting: Complete key customer operational reporting on a scheduled basis.
- Continuous improvement: Assist in continuously improving Aquadex’s Remote Asset management system. Participate in training sessions, to develop and enhance skills, knowledge, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Technical Qualifications in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience as a control room operator or similar role in a process-driven environment, preferably within the manufacturing, water, or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical and data management skills and be able to work across a range of technologies and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities or circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
