Kimberley Hotel located in the stunning Kimberley region of North-west Western Australia is currently seeking a Duty Manager to join our dedicated team to support the General Manager in overseeing the food & beverage department, including day to day operations and associated administration.
Our venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade. Make no mistake, this is a very busy hotel and fun place to live, work, experience and explore the beautiful Kimberley region.
This is a hands on role within our busy venue, so you must be passionate, customer-centric, display an excellent work ethic and lead by example.Our team come from across Australia and the globe
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
• Sound knowledge and previous experience in food and beverage service.
• Excellent customer service
• Strong Administrative skills (ordering, rostering, stock control etc)
• Experience in training and coaching other employees
• Exceptional leadership qualities, hard-working, reliable and a flexible attitude a team player
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to work with together with other departments.
• Thrive under pressure and in a busy environment
