About Us
We are currently seeking a Duty Manager with Gaming experience to join our team at the Sir John Franklin Hotel! Located in Kapunda, an hour out of Adelaide, this historic hotel offers country hospitality where you can enjoy a classic pub meal in the dining room, visit the recently renovated gaming room, stay in the accommodation, or have a drink in our beer garden.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with and support of the Venue Manager, assisting with operations across the venue;
- Represent the hotel in a positive and professional manner;
- Train and motivate staff whilst driving the importance of providing exceptional customer service;
- Work across all departments of the hotel, fostering harmonious relationships with all employees and patrons;
- Troubleshoot gaming machine issues promptly and efficiently;
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly;
- Replenish gaming machine supplies to ensure uninterrupted gameplay;
- Implement responsible gaming practices and provide necessary reports to management; and
- Write daily reports to be communicated to the team.
About You
- Previously held positions of responsibility and leadership in similar environments;
- Holds valid RSA, RP, and RSG/Advanced Gaming certifications;
- Immaculate personal presentation with exceptional customer service and communication skills;
- Experience with H&L & TAB preferred;
- Be an engaging, charismatic individual with charm and energy, proactive in self-development; and
- Availability to work over a 7-day roster, including evenings and primarily weekends.
