Duty Manager

Kedron-Wavell Ltd operates 2 well known and successful clubs – Kedron-Wavell and The Sands Social, with our third venue, The Sands Bowlo, opening at the end of January.

We’re on the hunt for a flexible Duty Manager who is ready for their next challenge. You will be working in safe venues, with great support from other Duty Managers, Managers and staff. We have set DM rosters at each venue so that you can plan your social life in advance! 

Our Duty Managers are responsible for the following:

• Maintaining a friendly and safe atmosphere within the Club.
• Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the operating departments within the Club.
• Ensuring high quality delivery of all Club’s products and the Club is clean and neatly presented.
• Ensuring sufficient staffing for the shift and source replacement staff when required. 
• Supervising, mentoring and liaising with Team Leaders to ensure efficient and effective management within each outlet.
• Handling customer concerns and compliments in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Conducting regular security and safety checks of the whole facility, in conjunction with security personnel. 
• Monitoring of cash handling, count takings, supervising cash changeovers and ensure security of Club monies, property and stock. 
• Ensuring all compliance is maintained on a daily basis in all areas with Gaming Regulations, QLD Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA, RSG, HACCP and OH&S

About you:

• Current RMLV, RSA & RSG and current QLD Approved Managers License
• Significant supervisory and or management experience in Hospitality / Club operations
• Flexibility and full availability (days, nights, weekends and public holidays)
• Evidence of a "hands on" approach utilising excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Current Senior First Aid certificate
