Supporting the Front Office Manager, we are seeking Duty Managers for our team who have strong Hotel background and looking for that next step.
As Duty Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of your shift including
- Managing the Hotel in the absence of senior management.
- Ensuring guest feedback is recorded accurately and action any service recovery required.
- Manage the guest arrival and departure experience.
- Monitor room allocations.
- Ensuring daily and nightly front desk tasks are actioned and completed.
- Ensure all accounting processes are achieved as per hotel standards
- Work closely with the Front Office Manager to deliver brand standard rooms, products and services.
- Promote a strong team culture across the Hotel including developing and maintaining interdepartmental relationships.
- Driving revenue targets.
To be successful in this role you will have
- Similar experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Working knowledge of a Property Management System preferably OPERA Cloud and similar.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A passion for the hospitality industry.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Ability to drive a strong team culture.
- Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
