Duty Manager-Kimberley Region-Remote Western Australia
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.
The property features accommodation, public bars, beer garden, TAB, large bottle shop and restaurant.
This is a hands on role suited to an experienced hospitality manager with extensive hotel and pub experience. You will work alongside senior management to ensure the smooth running of the venue, leading your team and working in bar, restaurant and front office.
The town offers great facilities including mobile coverage with Telstra (patchy Optus and Vodafone also available), shopping and an airport with regular flights.
There are many great ways to spend your days off; explore the local community, learn about the local history or experience the surrounding attractions. Whether you choose to take a tour or explore on your own, there are plenty of stunning places to see including national parks, waterholes and lookouts.
Pay Details: (Fulltime-Level 5)
$65,702 per annum

IMMEDIATE START
Duties:
- Provide management & leadership within the bar / restaurant
- Assist in reception after hours – reservations, enquiries, check-in etc
- 100% hands on in all areas of the venue
- Opens / Closes of venue
- Till reconciliation
- Stock management
- Staff supervision and training (around 6-10 on shift)
- Ensure staff are properly inducted and operate within the companies code of conduct guidelines
- Assist with rosters etc where required
- General Customer Service
- Incident reporting
- Adhere to WHS policies
- Adhere to RSA and RSG guidelines
- Other duties as required by management & assisting in other departments
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role-Minimum 2 years
- Must have a current WA Approved Managers License or be willing to obtain before commencement
- Strong hotel experience advantageous – in a ‘pub’ environment
- Previous hotel accommodation experience highly regarded
- Drivers license preferred
