Nestled in the heart of Brisbane’s premier shopping destination, James Street Precinct, we are a small and tight-knit team who empower each other to achieve exceptional results.

An ever-growing and expanding business, we are seeking an E-Commerce Manager to oversee, own and drive the profitability of our websites and digital marketing strategies across EDM, SEO, Meta platforms and digital advertising.

Position Title: E-Commerce Manager

Overview: The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for developing and driving the online sales strategy and enhancing our brand's digital presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and creative flair to effectively manage and grow our E-Commerce platform.

This is a full-time position based  onsite at our James Street Head Office. There is no option to work from home within this position.

The E-Commerce Manager will report directly to the Director, work closely with the Brand Manager, Warehouse Manager and Buying Team, and manage our E-Commerce Assistant and Data-Entry Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive E-Commerce strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Continuously evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Website Management: Own and oversee the day-to-day operations of the E-Commerce websites, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and performance. Implement UX and CX principles to create a user-friendly experience. Collaborate with web development and design agencies to implement site improvements, updates, and enhancements as needed. 
  • Product Merchandising: Upload, curate and merchandise products in collaboration with the Brand Manager, develop pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales and profitability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, marketing, and inventory management, to ensure accurate product listings and inventory levels.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance the online shopping experience and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and inquiries, and proactively address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of customer service. Experience in product packaging and “unboxing” would be a bonus.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as website traffic, conversion rates, and revenue to ensure resources are used effectively to maximize ROI & ROAS. Generate regular reports and actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Set OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to monitor E-Commerce performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Intermediate to Expert proficiency in Shopify.
  • Expert skills in Excel and a strong grasp of data analytics and logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, able to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written English skills, Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in E-Commerce management, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • 3+ years of E-Commerce/ Digital Marketing experience, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Shopify, Gorgias, Klaviyo, Starshippit.
  • Google Merchant Centre, GA4, Google Search Console.
  • SEMRush (or equivalent), Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Facebook Commerce Manager.
  • Proficient use of content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms (e.g Klaviyo, Convertkit, MailChimp).
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tactics, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration as well as project and team management skills.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in the E-Commerce space.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
