Join our dynamic team as an EA / Office Administrator at Tourism Portfolio -  a leading representation company. We specialize in promoting and driving incentive and meeting opportunities to our overseas destinations and venues within Australia. 

The right candidate will report to the Managing Director and General Manager in this exciting and diverse role. 

We represent some of Australia's best meeting and events venues &  will work closely with our DMC partners across New Zealand, Europe, Middle East, South America, Asia & America. 

To be considered for the role, you will need to possess an eagerness to meet the below expectations..

Responsibilities

Assist the MD and GM with the administration management and development of our clients and customers.

  1. Administration:  Ensure administrative duties are carried out in line with clear directives and support the MD and GM. 
  2. Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for our clients.
  3. CRM: Understand and maintain CRM system in all aspects. Eagerness to lean and to contribute to new and better ways. 
  4. Social Media: Maintain our Social media presence on all channels
  5. Relationship Building: Nurture strong internal and external business relationships with clients, customers, key stakeholders, including international tourism boards, venues, and partners..
  6. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to provide valuable insights for reporting purposes
  7. Keep us in line - and organised and most importantly have some fun along the way!

Requirements

The correct candidates will also possess the below qualities;

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and customers.
  2. Administration; Proven experience required. All industry groups considered.
  3. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  4. Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  5. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  6. Flexibility: A flexible approach to demands of the business
  7. Excellent: computer skills in Microsoft word, excel & PowerPoint imperative
