The context
Mother Duck Childcare and Kindergarten is an organisation which is proud to be making a significant contribution to advancing Early Childhood education, in Queensland and beyond, with its pioneering approach to teaching and learning. Based on the principles of the world-renowned Reggio Emilia Educational Project and informed by the inquiry learning approach engaged in many international schools across the globe, our curriculum is led by Dr Deborah Harcourt, who has been our consulting Chief Curriculum Officer for 9 years.

Skills and experience:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood education and care, or an approved equivalency, or working towards
- Knowledge of the EYLF, NQS.
- Respectful communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children birth to five
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Current First and CPR certification
- A current working with children check
- Sound knowledge of the principles of Reggio Emilia ideal but not essential
