About The Centre
The early learning centres in Harrisdale is a brand new purpose built Early learning centre. They are searching for an additional Early Childhood Teacher for our service to support our Garden room which supports teaching of 3-5 yr old children. They nurture, love and inspire children through a blended approach to teaching. Montessori, Reggio and Steiner form the basis of our intentional teaching.

Qualifications & experience
- Current Working with Children Check Current National Police Clearance Certificate Current approved First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Diploma in Childrens services or as recognized by ACECQA and working towards a Early Childhood degree
- Early childhood Degree or as recognized by ACECQA
- Montessori Qualifications and or formal training in Montessori
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide a vibrant, interesting, varied, and appropriate children’s program that is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children as per the Early Years Learning Framework and the Montessori Philosophy.
- Ensure that the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the company are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements.
- Maintain compliance with the regulations as prescribed by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit along with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Encourage staff and families of Sagewood to actively contribute to the quality and success of the Centre.
- Ensure that a sense of belonging and respect prevails at the center between children, educators, and families always.
- Execute the daily operations of the room to ensure an early learning program and care of the highest standard.
- Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background or socio-economic status.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language.
