We are an exceeding Early Childhood education and care centre. Our home-like environment caters for 88 children across the service a day with five age specific classrooms, focusing on the development and growth of children at each stage of their early years.
Qualifications & experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate, Early Childhood Teacher to join our 3-4 year old room team at Explore & Develop Terrigal. If you hold a Degree in Early Childhood and would like to work in an innovative Early Childhood setting that exceeds the National Quality Standards, we welcome your application.
The right candidate will be able to work within a large team and as part of our 3-4 year old room team. They will be committed to providing high quality care and be involved in upholding our Exceeding rating and be willing to take on additional responsibilities.
You will have;
- Early Childhood Teaching Degree - New graduates welcome.
- Valid Working With Children's Check
- Current First Aid Certificate - HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- Current Child Protection - CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 course code preferred
- Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
- Current references
- Responsible Person experience (preferred but not required)
- Room Leader/Leadership experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience with programming and planning for children and willingness to carry out written documentation for children.
