About the Role
Reporting to the Earthworks Supervisor this permanent position provides general maintenance and labouring services to the Earthworks section and other nominated sections of the Gladstone Ports Corporation as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean & hygienic workplace.
- Manual Handling and Maintenance works;
- Traffic Management Control works
- Light/Heavy Rigid Vehicle operations;
- Mobile Equipment operations;
About You
To excel in this position, you will have experience in maintaining office/cribbing facilities, mobile equipment operations and be familiar with civil construction work activities. Additionally, you will also have a willingness to comply with all the health, safety and environment management systems and hold the following qualifications.
- HR Truck Licence (Mandatory)
- Front End Loader and Roller (Level 3 Machinery Competencies) (Mandatory)
- Skid Steer (Desirable)
- Level 2 Traffic Management certification or the ability to attain certification (Desirable)
- Blue/White Construction Card (Desirable)
- Rigger/ Dogger ticket (Desirable)
- Forklift ticket (Desirable)
