Urban Shoemakers is a shoe developer, wholesaler, and brand owner with over 40 years’ experience servicing the independent footwear market. From our head office, we design, develop, and produce our footwear brands: EOS & Los Cabos using carefully selected manufacturing partners, for the Australian, New Zealand and North American markets.
We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Ecommerce Coordinator for our B2B & B2C business. The role is incredibly varied, so we guarantee you will never get bored.
This role would be ideal for an individual with at least 2 years Ecommerce experience and with interest to grow within a robust B2B and B2C retail business with the intention to extend its e-retail presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Report directly to the marketing manager
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce (Shopify) sites, ensuring smooth functioning, responsiveness, and optimal user experience (B2B & B2C)
- Manage operations of our 3rd party marketplace sites by adding new products, product information and ensuring accurate available stock.
- Implement and maintain website content, ensuring product descriptions, images, categories, collections tags and pricing are accurate and compelling.
- Manage inventory on all sites by communicating with team members on new product warehouse arrivals and facilitate stock release on out of stock products.
- Continuously monitor and analyse site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance conversion rates, customer retention, and overall revenue.
- Facilitation and execute promotional campaigns and pricing/discount structure.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on keeping the websites fresh by updating product images, banners and merchandising
- Regular reporting and analysis of key business metrics.
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends and Shopify updates to continuously improve the site.
- Manage Shopify apps and integrations as well as handling site technical issues by troubleshooting in a timely manner
- Collaborate on all EDM activities and automated marketing campaigns: write brief for EDM’s and analysing performance.
- 2+ years of experience in managing Shopify eCommerce platform.
- Klaviyo or similar platform experience knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytics and reporting skills (microsoft excel expert).
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of e-commerce, marketing, and retail.
- A strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and digital marketing strategies.
- Well-developed communication, time management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- An ability to work independently and in a team environment.
