About the role
Bathurst Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Economic Development Team in the role of Economic Development Support Officer.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Economic Development function in delivering events, communications, customer service and marketing.
Key Requirements
- Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated sound administration skills and customer service attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage own time and work to meet set objectives.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop basic marketing skills, including social media marketing and website updating.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people of various levels, both internal and external to the organisation and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our community and stakeholders.
- An effective team player, along with the ability to work cooperatively and positively in a sensitive and confidential environment.
- Understanding of continuous learning principles, equal employment opportunities, occupational health and safety and ethical practice principles.

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
Salary: $717.62 to $753.93 per week + super
Position Status: Permanent - Part Time
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week (days of work can be negotiated)
