We value those with sharp, analytical minds and are open to challenging the way things are done.The teamThe Evidence Services team provides evidence collection, management and analysis services using various databases and litigation support tools to assist ASIC's regulatory teams to review and present evidence in courts and other bodies.Your RoleAs an E-Discovery Officer at ASIC, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to investigate and prosecute misconduct in the financial sector. You will leverage cutting-edge e-discovery technologies and methodologies to collect, process, and analyze electronic evidence relevant to regulatory investigations and litigation.Key Responsibilities:

• Register, process, securely store, archive, dispose and manage ASIC evidence throughout its life cycle.
• Analyse, classify, ingest and QA Electronically Stored Information (ESI) on ASICs evidence and other systems in accordance with established guidelines and practices.
• Meet key performance indicators and business plan objectives.
• Provide training, technical advice and assistance to team members and stakeholders on evidence management practices and techniques.
• Act as the Team Leader's 2IC as needed.

About You

• You will need demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and evidence management or electronic file management in a professional services firm, law firm or enforcement agency to undertake this role. Qualifications in law, information technology or business are desirable.
• Experience in the use of litigation support software such as Nuix Discover, Nuix Workstation, EDT, Access Data, Relativity or similar is desirable. Awareness of computer forensics principles is also desirable.
• Experience and skills at managing stakeholder and service delivery expectations, responding to complex enquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Communication skills (verbally and written) to present information to different audiences. Stakeholder management experience including building, maintaining and utilising industry networks.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
