- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $93,295 to $102,941 + super

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Education & Community Programs Officer to join our team at Greater Sydney Parklands. This role plays a crucial part in delivering and developing education programs and community initiatives that align with our values and mission.
About You:
- You are a dedicated educator with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
- Your experience in delivering outdoor education programs demonstrates your ability to connect with diverse audiences and make learning both informative and enjoyable.
- You possess strong project management skills, allowing you to oversee multiple programs simultaneously from conception to execution.
- Your creative approach to curriculum development ensures that educational materials are engaging, informative, and aligned with relevant standards.
- Safety is your top priority, and you have a keen understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and quality under pressure.
- Flexibility is second nature to you, and you're willing to work outside normal hours and weekends as needed.
- You hold a Working with Children Check (WWCC), a current First Aid qualification, and a valid NSW driver’s license.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends if required.
- Ability to lift 15kg several times a day.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012
- Current, or ability to obtain a First Aid qualification or equivalent.
- Current NSW driver’s license.
