About the Role
Join our team as a Program Support Officer in Community Transport Services! We provide a safe and reliable transport service to a diverse range of older clients unable to arrange transport or who are having difficulty accessing public transport within the Wollongong-Shellharbour areas. We also provide a service to clients who are considered transport disadvantaged.
With your genuine interest in working with a diverse range of older people and actively supporting individual needs, you will bring your customer focus, administration, intake/registration and service delivery skills to facilitate the efficient and effective operations of Community Transport service.

This is a full-time term contract, salary: $74,255.78 up to $84,902.61 per annum plus superannuation.
This service is grant funded by Transport NSW until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension subject to confirmation from the funding body. It is a requirement of the funding body that the successful applicant will undergo a Criminal Record Check.
What You will be doing:
With the ability to work as a part of a team and autonomously, you will deliver customer focused services. You will also:
- prepare client assessments, intake, registration and/or referrals - assisting with their transport requirements
- manage and respond to enquiries from a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- schedule transport for individuals and local community groups
- maintain thorough client records using client data management systems
- process insurance claims
- collaborate and negotiate with a range of customers to ensure service delivery
About you:
Along with your knowledge of aged care principles, administrative skills and the ability to multi-task, you will bring exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Your experience dealing with a diverse range of people allows you the confidence in prioritising and managing competing demands. You will have a keen eye for detail and a customer centred mind-set. You enjoy helping others, your organised and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
