Application Support Developer/Junior JAVA Developer

We are partnering with a well established Financial Services Business who is looking to hire a hybrid Application Support Engineer/Junior Java Dev! This business is growing at a very fast pace and work on Complex Software within a niche Financial Services industry.This role will provide application maintenance on their systems. This includes investigation and resolution of issues, debugging Java code and may include performance monitoring, issues may be resolved by providing advice, by devising corrections for faults or updating documentation. We need someone who can deep dive in to Technical issues and either fix the code or pass it on to the Software Development team.Experience/Skills

• 3yrs-5yrs experience across software/Application Support in Java/Springboot
• 3 years Development experience in Java
• Excellent debugging skills in Java
• Ability to read code in Java and SQL
• SQL scripting and troubleshooting skills
• Web based applications development and maintenance
• Able to work under pressure
