UGL is currently seeking interest from Electrical Supervisor's to join our WA Team based on the Kwinana Fuel Terminal. This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a specialised and diverse team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customer.
About the role
The Supervisor is responsible for management and coordination of electrical trades (Direct and Sub-Contractor) within their assigned scope of work or work area. The Supervisor is to ensure that work is completed in a safe and efficient manner that meets the quality and schedule requirements as stipulated within the agreed maintenance plan.
In this position, you will also provide support to the Maintenance Delivery team in identification and implementation of improvement opportunities across the operation including work and business processes.
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- Trade qualification as an Electrician/ Instrumentation Technician
- 5 years' experience in a similar environment ideally in Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Maintenance or Brownfield Project
- WA Electrical Licence or other States within Australia where mutual recognition permits
- HVSO - High Voltage Switching Operator qualification
- EEHA
- CPR / LVR within 12 months
- Enter confined space qualification - valid within 2 years - preferred
- Safe work at heights qualification - valid within 2 years - required
- MSIC preferred but not essential
- Sound knowledge of safety and quality when working in petro-chemical or Oil & Gas environment
- Sound knowledge of working under maintenance procedures and requirements
- Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making and negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
